Students are encouraged to enroll to receive refunds electronically. Electronic refunds are received in a more secure manor and are available sooner. Students may enter their bank account information through My.IllinoisState.edu. Once the account entered has been verified, all refunds would be sent to the student’s checking or savings account and will post to the bank account in 1-2 business days.
Students may go to the Student Accounts website to enter an electronic check payment for tuition and fees. There is no charge for this service. Students may pay only up to the amount owed.
For tuition payments, other Student Account fees, and Perkins Loan payments, students can use the State of Illinois E-Pay program which accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Payments are accepted online or through an automated telephone system at (877) 455-3729. The State of Illinois will charge you a convenience fee for using this service.
Illinois State University has partnered with peerTransfer to accommodate international students for bill payment with lower currency exchange rates.
Online deposits for the Redbird Dollars accessed via the Illinois State Student ID Card are accepted via credit card (3% fee) and electronic check (no fee) through My.IllinoisState.edu. Deposits must be at least $10 and they are available after approximately 20 minutes. For credit card deposits MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted.
